Atheists Viciously Attack Carrie Underwood’s New Song, Want It Banned

by American News 0

As part of their constant attack on religious freedom and anything Christian, it appears that atheists have founds a new target: Carrie Underwood.

The conflict stems from her song entitled “Something in the Water” where Underwood sings about baptism and being “washed in the blood.” Both of these are key symbols in the Christian religion—which make sense given Underwood’s Christian faith and upbringing. The song continues on to describe someone who reaches a desperate situation and realizes that they need God for salvation.

According to reports from The Blaze, Underwood has a message for those who are opposing her lyrics, and its coming through loud and clear.

“Country music is different,” Underwood announced. “You have that Bible Belt-ness about it. I’m not the first person to sing about God, Jesus, faith, or any of that, and I won’t be the last. And it won’t be the last for me, either. If you don’t like it, change the channel.
